Post-doc position

Alessandro Pozzebon received his M.S. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Siena, Italy in 2006, where he worked on the RFID technology applied to cultural heritage. In year 2007 he worked for the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Siena, Italy, on the development of Java software applications for the SM-Paysoc and Beacon EU projects.
He received his PhD degree from the same Department in 2012 working on a thesis on the use of RFID technology for environmental monitoring of coastal erosion phenomena. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematical Sciences in Siena.
His main research interests include the development of application based on WSN, ZigBee, RFID and NFC technologies in several different applicative fields, from healthcare to environmental monitoring and cultural heritage. He has been involved in several research projects, including the SIESTA; T-Seniority and SESSION projects. He is author or co-author of more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
